Most often we come to individual psychotherapy because we're in pain or feel lost. Psychotherapy is a place to explore your heart and mind.  We take a look at what brought you to this moment  and  what you are longing for. 

 

Individual work has a lot to do with understanding parts of yourself more deeply, uncovering unconscious patterns,  and looking at your family history to make sense of how today's events are unfolding.  Sometimes, simply having a witness who can deeply reflect back your own experience can support a lot of growth and integration of difficult life events.  Therapy is a place where you can be yourself, feel your feelings, and think deeply about what's important to you!

 

Topics many clients bring in include; intimacy with others, tolerating aloneness, understanding past life events, working on self-esteem and self-exploration, finding a deeper meaning in life, and navigating losses and grief.
